Responsibilities

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Radiology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiologist for Copley Hospital, a busy, multi-modality community practice located in the bucolic town of Stowe/Morrisville, Vermont.

 

You will be employed by Dartmouth Health, working at Copley Hospital, a not-for-profit critical access hospital. You will provide a unique blend of quality, compassionate, personalized, and state-of-the-art medical care in a small, warm, and friendly environment.

 

Position Summary:

You will bring your own unique experience and a strong interest in multimodality community-based imaging and image-guided procedures. A solid background and skill level in breast imaging are essential, along with a team-oriented approach to providing exceptional patient care. As a full-time team member, you will also participate in general call duties, contributing to a well-rounded and fulfilling role.

The Department and Dartmouth Health

The selected candidate will join Dartmouth Health’s 60 radiologists. We are an internationally known Department with a deep history in the field, beginning with acquiring the first clinically x-ray in the United States in 1896. Since then, we have continued an upward trajectory growing in breadth and depth and expanding our services across New England.

 

While Dartmouth Health includes many hospitals and clinic sites, this position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, our tertiary care central hub which also serves as the system’s Academic Medical Center. DHMC is the state’s only Level 1 trauma center, a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and is home to a fleet of helicopter and ground-based medical transport services.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Diagnostic Radiology Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Demonstrated expertise in mammography and other imaging modalities.
  • Must obtain and maintain a medical license in both New Hampshire and Vermont
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
