Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Department of Psychiatry seeks to hire a Psychologist who specializes in Mood Disorders to join our academic faculty located in Lebanon, NH at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

 

The Department of Psychiatry is looking for a psychologist specializing in Mood Disorders for its interdisciplinary, multispecialty faculty outpatient practice. The Mood Disorder Psychologist will join clinicians and researchers in the Department’s Mood Disorder program, which includes the interventional services of ECT, TMS and esketamine.  In this role, the Psychologist’s primary clinical responsibilities are to provide clinical assessment and psychotherapeutic services to patients diagnosed with a range of mood disorders. The ideal candidate would not only have experience diagnosing and treating a range of mood disorders, but would also be skilled working with suicidality, parasuicidal behaviors, and trauma.  Clinical care will be delivered both in person and via telehealth.

 

The successful candidate will be highly skilled in evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions. Additional expectations include expert teaching, including psychotherapy supervision for psychiatry and psychology trainees. Moreover, stimulating opportunities for research collaboration and mentorship exist both within the Department and the larger institution.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
  • Completion of a predoctoral internship from an APA- or CPA-accredited internship program.
  • Completion of a postdoctoral training in psychology.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the states of New Hampshire and Vermont.
