Overview

OBGYN Physician
Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Lebanon

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Lebanon General Obstetrics and Gynecology team is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN Generalist Physician to join our collaborative practice set here in the beautiful Upper Valley of New Hampshire. Our faculty is eager to recruit and retain talented physicians who will help us in creating a more dynamic, inclusive and innovative team here at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and our system partners.  This position will be set in both DHMC and Valley Regional Hospital.

Our Division is currently made up of 17 board certified Generalist physicians, which includes two nights-only Generalists, as well as nine clinic based APRNs. We average around 1,300 deliveries a year, covering a 24/7 service as well as 650 gynecologic surgeries annually.

We have three subspecialist divisions; Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology and Gynecology Oncology along with a Midwifery Group and Genetic Counselors to truly have a well-rounded comprehensive team to offer the best care to our patients.

In this full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology role you will provide care to obstetrical and gynecology patients in the outpatient setting, the Birthing Pavilion, the inpatient setting and in the operating room. We are a large tertiary-care hospital and academic medical center, and therefore teaching residents, medical students and engaging in research endeavors is an integral part of the day-to-day job

Our Department and Chair are incredibly supportive of the Generalist Division and committed to serving the needs of our Providers as well as the patients that we serve.  Our community has a diverse patient population, and we have a robust team set up to work with patients struggling with the various Social Determinants of Health.

We have an engaged group of physicians invested and committed to optimal patient outcomes, and we are looking to add a physician with excellent clinical skills to be a part of our strong team.
