The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Lebanon, NH is seeking a doctoral level Adult Neuropsychologist with strong clinical and program development interests to join its faculty and serve patients within the Department of Neurology at Notre-Dame Pavilion in Manchester, NH.
We are interested in individuals who are passionate about efficiently delivering high-quality neuropsychological care in a diverse environment. In this role, you would work with an engaged multidisciplinary team of providers largely focused on behavioral neurology. This neuropsychologist will work with the local neurologists in this Manchester location and have opportunities to collaborate with the Lebanon-based team.
Candidates should have experience working with adults and older adults presenting with a wide range of neurological and medical conditions (e.g., dementia, stroke, movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, etc.). Experience with team-based care is a plus. Psychometry services will be available.
We emphasize flexibility of scheduling, including the ability to work from home on non-testing days. This provider will also be encouraged to explore areas of specialization and particular interest that fit well within Neurology services (e.g., intervention, etc.).
Additionally, as part of our formal APPCN postdoctoral neuropsychology fellowship program, this provider will have the opportunity to participate in our weekly didactics, held at DHMC in Lebanon. A range of academic and professional development resources are available within the Department of Psychiatry, including mentorship and ongoing learning opportunities.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience: (1) working within dementia and memory clinics, and (2) starting their own clinical programs within academic medical centers.
Candidates must meet the following requirements: (1) PhD or PsyD from an APA- or CPA- approved program; (2) a minimum of two full years of specialty postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology consistent with the Houston Conference guidelines; (3) be board certified or eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology; (4) eligible for licensure in New Hampshire.
