Overview

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is growing in volume and seeking Academic Surgical Pathologists to join our excellent team. Subspecialty training or experience in GYN, Breast, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Cytopathology, or Medical Renal Pathology are priorities at this time.

 

Overview:

  • Practice based in the newly renovated departmental space at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH close to the campus of Dartmouth College
  • Active participation in the academic mission of the department, including flexible and tailored focus on clinical research, quality, and educational initiatives both with Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and our AP/CP Pathology Resident trainees
  • An academic appointment, commensurate with experience, will be requested at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine
  • Excellent facilities for diagnostic applications and collaborative research activities, including a state-of-the-art on-site clinical genomics laboratory, an active pathology informatics group, and established digital pathology resources
  • Collegial and supportive faculty and staff

Requirements and Preferences:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in AP or AP/CP
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in a surgical pathology subspecialty is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain/maintain NH and VT medical licenses
