Overview

NON-SURGICAL SPORTS MEDICINE-  MD

 

Responsibilities:

- Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain and other sports medicine concerns with both medical and interventional modalities.
- Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations and X-ray & MRI imaging.
- Perform joint injections.
- Supervise medical staff.
- Communicate information about diagnosis and treatment protocols to patients and set clear treatment goals and expectations.

Requirements:
- Experience in joint and soft tissue injection.
- Experience in at least one of sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, physical medicine & rehabilitation, ER/Urgent care, anesthesiology.
- Ability to read and interpret X-ray and MRI images.

- Ability to prescribe various medications, and carry out non-surgical treatment

- Thorough knowledge of disease and injury diagnostics

- In-depth understanding of sports culture and practices

- Passion for and eagerness to work in the field of regenerative medicine.

Qualifications

  1. Ability to obtain an unrestricted NH Medical License Required
  2. Current DEA license Required
  3. BLS Certification Required
  4. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Pain Management/ Physiatry. If Board Eligible, must be actively working toward Board Certification.
  5. Completion of a Sports Medicine fellowship.
  6. Demonstrated Competence in providing sports medicine services
