Chair, Department of Family Medicine - Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene - Keene, NH
Cheshire Medical Center at Dartmouth Keene is seeking an experienced Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our team as Chair of Family Medicine. Our ideal candidate has relevant experience as a medical director or above in a primary care practice or hospital system.
The Chair of the Department of Family Medicine will provide strategic and operational leadership for a department with a strong focus on community and population health. This individual will oversee approximately 50 providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs), across the main campus family medicine clinic, urgent visit services, work closely with the Medical Director of the new Family Practice Residency Program to support education and training, 3 Nursing Homes in our area, each with a medical director and a physician in charge of NH oversight, and community satellite family medicine clinics in Walpole and Winchester. The Chair will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and play a pivotal role in shaping the department’s clinical, educational, and quality initiatives.
