About Dartmouth Health:
Dartmouth Health is New Hampshire’s largest, and only academic, health system. We serve patients from across northern New England and provide access to over 1,800 providers. Anchored by the academic Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, the system includes the NCI-designated Dartmouth Cancer Center, the Dartmouth Health Children’s hospital, 8 member hospitals, 30+ ambulatory clinic locations across the region, a Visiting Nurse Association, and the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care.
Lebanon and the neighboring town of Hanover, home to Dartmouth College, are located in the “Upper Valley” which straddles the pristine Connecticut River, a national heritage river, and includes 46 towns in western New Hampshire and eastern Vermont. This local region boasts excellent local schools, a myriad of cultural opportunities through Dartmouth College, as well as the Lebanon Opera House and Northern Stage in White River Junction, and an abundance of recreational opportunities. Amenities associated with urban areas in Boston MA, Burlington VT, and Montreal QC are all within a few hours’ drive.
At Dartmouth Health, we care for patients from every community across our region, and we believe the range of backgrounds and experiences our people bring is a strength we support and celebrate. We are committed to an environment where every person can thrive — our patients, our colleagues, and the communities we serve. Our belief is simple and actionable: Dartmouth Health is better when we treat one another with respect and open minds, listen carefully to experiences different from our own, and hold ourselves accountable for how every person is treated here.
