New London Hospital is seeking per diem advanced practice providers (APRN or PA) with prior hospital medicine or critical care medicine background to join our Hospital Medicine Team. Primarily night shift coverage, but occasional day coverage shifts available as well. Primary responsibilities include independently rounding on acute/swing/custodial patients, performing ED admissions, and responding to medical emergencies. The candidate will join a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who focus on delivering exceptional inpatient care. New London Hospital does have a Special Care Unit (SCU) which serves as a step-down unit, but performing procedures or ventilation management is not required. Providers must maintain ACLS credentialing. This position offers flexible shift work that allows for improved work-life balance. Nights are 14 hour shifts. Weekdays are 10 hour shifts. Weekend days are 6 hour shifts.
New London Hospital is a critical access hospital located in New London, New Hampshire and a member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System. New London Hospital features 25 inpatient medical-surgical beds which includes 4 SCU beds. Specialty services include general surgery and orthopedics.
