Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) — Gynecology & Urogynecology
Dartmouth Health Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled APRN to join our growing OBGYN team, providing care across both general gynecology and urogynecology. This role offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients across the full spectrum of women's health needs — from routine gynecologic care to the evaluation and management of pelvic floor disorders.
As a community hospital, we offer the clinical variety of a specialty practice with the collegiality and work-life balance of a smaller, close-knit care team. You'll work directly alongside our physician gynecologists and urogynecologists, with strong support from nursing and administrative staff.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual exams, contraceptive counseling, and management of common gynecologic conditions
- Evaluate and manage patients with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain
- Perform urodynamic testing and related diagnostic procedures (training provided as needed)
- Conduct pre- and post-operative visits for patients undergoing gynecologic and urogynecologic surgery
- Collaborate closely with physicians on treatment planning, including conservative and surgical management options
- Educate patients on pelvic floor health, bladder training, and non-surgical interventions such as pessary fitting and management
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Participate in patient education initiatives and quality improvement efforts within the department
What We're Looking For
- Active APRN licensure in New Hampshire (or eligibility for licensure)
- National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), or equivalent
- DEA eligibility
- At least 2-3 years of experience in gynecology; experience in urogynecology strongly preferred, but not required
- Comfort with in-office procedures (e.g., pessary fitting, endometrial biopsy, colposcopy) or willingness to learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to sensitive health topics
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
Why Join Us
- Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement match)
- Generous CME allowance and paid time off for professional development
- No weekends, nights, or call requirements
- Supportive onboarding with mentorship from experienced physicians and APRNs
- A chance to make a meaningful impact in the community
